Ballots will be in the mail in less than a month, and there are a lot of initiatives for voters to consider – including Proposition 134, which aims to ban trans athletes’ participation in girls’ sports, and Proposition 135, which would ban doctors from performing any surgery on a child quote “for the purpose of altering biological sex characteristics.” Comedian and sports correspondent Kate McLachlan joins host Bree Davies to parse out the motives behind these measures.
