The Gospel - Daniel Golin

As Redeemer City celebrates three years and recommits to its mission to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus, we’re reminded that this mission cannot be sustained by willpower—it must be fueled by the gospel. From 1 Corinthians 1:26–31, we see the reversal of the gospel, where God chooses the weak and overlooked; the riches of the gospel, where everything Christ has accomplished becomes ours in Him; and the response of the gospel, where our confidence shifts from ourselves to Jesus. Whatever we face—success or failure, strength or weakness—the invitation is the same: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
