Ep 486: Supermarket Sweepings

Every now and then, Cheapshow likes to go a little “wild in the aisle” when it comes to charity shop shopping… This week, they get to put their spending skills to the test when Paul whips out a board game based on a beloved 1990s game show, Supermarket Sweep! Hosted by Dale Winton, contestants ran around a huge supermarket, hunting for items and answering food based questions. But will the board game reflect the excitement of the TV show? You probably already have a good idea on the outcome to that, in a classic Gannon’s Golden Games. Eli’s also got to sweet treats to sample, with a return to the Froth Shop. The candy store has reopened, but sadly, an all too familiar face is running the shop. To make matters worse, Paul is definitely not going to like some of the gummies on offer.
