The Clancy Holdout Juror Is Named, Doxxed and in Hiding, and His Account Contradicts the Foreperson's, Plus Patrick Clancy on 60 Minutes

The holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial has been publicly identified, had his address and phone number posted online, received death threats, and is now in an undisclosed location in rural northern New England with counsel. In a statement to NewsNation, Michael P. Desronvil disputed his fellow jurors' accounts: "I didn't have any doubts," and said he believed from the evidence that Clancy "knew exactly what she was doing and planned" it — a direct contradiction of foreperson Roni Carlson, who told NBC10 Boston he had admitted reasonable doubt and whose note prompted the defense to seek his removal. Judge William Sullivan refused, and no court has found Desronvil did anything improper. A GiveSendGo campaign for his security and legal costs has passed $330,000. Kevin Reddington has filed a renewed motion asking Sullivan to enter a required finding of not guilty, arguing the Commonwealth's evidence was insufficient; the status hearing is September 29.
