Welcome to the best of the bus. With the World Cup starting in the U.S. this week, no better way to start than with professional soccer players Walker Zimmerman and CJ Sapong. Enjoys fellas and happy Saturday. Will welcomes a couple of first-time guests on the bus, Nashville Soccer Club studs Walker Zimmerman and CJ Sapong. Comp gets out in front of himself and quickly tells the boys he knows nothing about soccer except for what he has learned from Ted Lasso. After everyone gets acclimated we find out that Walker might be one of the top fantasy football GM's in the country and is trying to get any kind of inside scoop he can out of Comp. Next, CJ explains how the youth system in the US works and how the goal of it is to identify young talent and then sell them to a team preferably overseas. As far as Will is concerned, the US is selling kids and that's that. Walker tells us about the full circle moment he put the captains arm band for the national team, and what it's like balancing playing for the national team and Nashville SC. Towards the end CJ opens up about how is lowest moments led him to meditation and the changes he has seen in himself as a person and a player. Another solid pod in the books for the boys and as the NFL season goes on and Will remains a free agent... could he be the next Ted Lasso??See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Recorded: June 9th 2026 | Welcome back to another episode of Racin’ With The Boys. We are joined this week by two buddies who have long history together, Noah Gragson and Chase Briscoe. The guys start off the show talking about pre-race superstitions, which one of them, is pretty out there. Noah and Chase get into how their friendship started and what it was like racing together at Stewart-Haas Racing. For Chase, Tony Stewart was his favorite driver growing up. He talks about how cool it was being able to race for his idol and they both get into what it was like searching for a new ride when the team shut down. Each of the guys talk about how they got into racing and Chase’s story of how he got a ride is a crazy story. Noah and Chase also say how they think NASCAR should allow fighting again back in the sport and how it brings more viewership. Chase and Noah get into what their pre-race anxiety is like and what the pressure is like week in and week out. Chase drives for Joe Gibbs Racing and when he first joined the team he thought if he didn’t win, he would lose his job. Both of the guys stared in NASCAR’s mini movie “NASCAR vs. Navy: The San Diego Mini Movie”. They talk about how cool of an experience that was and who is the better actor between the two of them. The boys end the show talking about having to go to the bathroom during the race and each have crazy stories about what it’s like. All in all, this is a fun listen and really shows the guys personalities throughout. The boys have one of the boys and Nashville comedian, Nate Bargatze. The boys get right into some of Nate’s old jobs that he had when he was a kid. One of the jobs that he hated actually made it onto an episode of Dirty Jobs. Then the boys get into how Nate started his comedy career. Instead of moving straight to New York from Nashville, he did a little time in Chicago before he finally decided to make the move to New York. Nate talks about the New York comedy scene and how crazy/overwhelming it can be as there are thousands of comedians trying to make it. He says fighting your way through the different types of comedy is how you really become good and is how you find your style/voice. Nate gets into some comedians he had a little bit of a run in with but has since ironed things out with. He tells the story of Louis CK publicly embarrassing him at a show and making fun of one of the jokes Nate told during his set. However, Nate says he was able to make sense of it all because at the time he had only been in comedy for 5 years. Nate talks about the different advice he gives to younger comedians which is interesting to hear. The boys end the pod talking about why Nate decided to be a clean comedian, why he decided to stop drinking and how good Scientology is at recruiting people. Nate is really just one of the guys and tells some really good stories throughout the episode that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy fellas.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Welcome back to another episode of Racin' With The Boys. On this week’s episode, we’re joined by William Byron, the driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. William is typically a quieter guy but Delanie and Taylor really get him to open up. William and the boys were able to meet up before the Nashville race this past weekend and Taylor asks him what are the nerves like heading into a race. The guys then get into trying to understand the different types of penalties that happen in NASCAR and how some drivers may not know every single little rule that there is. William is also known to be a big LEGO guy so Taylor asks him what he's currently building but William says he hasn't been able to get into too much as golf has taken over. The boys then really dive into William's come up to NASCAR. He didn't have the typical rise through the ranks like most of the other drivers. William started out as a SIM racer and earned his stripes through that. He gets into his journey on how he went from SIM racing to actual racing and the major learning curve that was. Byron eventually got signed by Hendricks Motorsports, one of the dynasties in NASCAR, to drive the iconic #24 car. He gets into what the pressure is like driving not only for such a legendary team, but also an iconic number. We end the podcast with a quick one word to describe some drivers that you aren't going to want to miss.
