And somewhere along the way, a man who spent decades taking care of everyone else discovers that he is sitting alone with his thoughts. The hardest part is that good men rarely talk about it. They keep mowing the lawn. They go to church. They smile when people ask, 'How are you?' They tell everyone they're doing fine. But in the quiet moments, they wonder, 'Does anyone still need me?
