Episode 202: Solheim Cup Stumble, Lowry Lights Up Irish Open & Break80 Heads West

It was another head scratching loss for the Americans in team format golf. This time the European team bested the USA at the Solheim Cup. Heading into Sunday the American and European teams were tied going into singles, but Europe outlasted the Americans in the Netherlands to win the Solheim Cup. We will have all of our reactions plus we try to figure out... why is America so bad at these events? We will also question some of captain Angela Stanford's decisions. Shane Lowry blitzed the field at Doonbeg to win the Irish Open by 11 shots at -23. It is Lowry's second win in his home country, 17 years after he won the Irish Open as an amateur. We ventured to Sioux Falls for the Champions tour event and the absurdity was real. Players in carts while the caddies walked, silencer tents at a golf tournament, etc. We will discuss what we saw at the Sanford International. The pod headed back to Landmand for the first time since we were there before its opening. We also got a chance to play the newest private club in Sioux Falls, Mapleton Golf Club and we were not disappointed.
