When a man finally humbles himself before the Lord, grace meets him there. Manasseh had gone far into sin, rebellion, and darkness. But when he was brought low, he looked to God as his only remedy. That is humility. That is faith. And the Lord answered him with mercy. Where there is true humility before God, wonderful grace flows from the heart of God. And notice this—God's grace did more than simply rescue him from bondage. Grace began to transform him. Manasseh didn't just say, "Thank You, Lord." He started cleaning house. He removed the idols. He cast out what dishonored God. He repaired the altar of the Lord. He offered peace offerings and thank offerings. And he called others to serve the Lord God of Israel. That is what grace does. Grace restores. Grace changes. Grace cleans up what sin tore down. This story is not just about a wicked king. It is about the mighty grace of God poured out on the humble. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." — James 4:6 (NKJV) If you are low today, broken today, or waking up to the damage sin has done—do not run from God. Humble yourself before Him. There is still grace. And His grace is mighty.
