Conybeare...🌭🐻?

F. C. Conybeare's writing about Matthew 28:19 argues that the [seemingly] Trinitarian baptismal formula in the verse was not original to Matthew's Gospel. In his view, the verse is a later interpolation reflecting the theological developments of the church in the 4th century. Either way, we stand with the Word, and baptize in the name of Jesus Christ.
