The Rules of Appalachia | Paranormal Podcast In this episode, we went deep into the unwritten survival guide of one of the most ancient and genuinely unsettling stretches of wilderness in North America — the Rules of Appalachia — breaking down 14 laws that locals, hunters, and hikers swear by if you want to make it back out of those mountains in one piece. From never whistling after dark, to what to do if something calls your name in a voice you recognize, to the very specific etiquette required if a bearded old man sits down uninvited at your campfire, we covered a solid list of what's lurking out there and why you absolutely do not want to ignore it. We wrapped it up with three encounters from people who learned some of these rules the hard way... Chillingham Castle | Paranormal Podcast We packed our bags and headed back to England for this one — Chillingham Castle in Northumberland, which might just be the most blood-soaked, ghost-saturated piece of real estate in the entire UK, and we went deep on every brutal layer of it. Waaaay more exciting than Leap Castle (looking at you, Producer Ben)From King Edward I using it as his war headquarters to massacre Scottish prisoners and their children, to a torturer named John Sage who apparently had a real passion for the job, to the infamous blue boy spirit. We wrapped it up with three firsthand encounters from people who actually stayed there, including someone who got a little too close to the hanging tree after dark and came back with a story that smells like sulfur and ends with a full sprint back to the apartment. Episode Keywords: Chillingham Castle haunted, most haunted castle UK, Northumberland paranormal, John Sage torturer, Blue Boy ghost Chillingham, haunted castles England, King Edward I Chillingham, paranormal podcast, true ghost stories, creepy podcast, horror podcast, supernatural encounters, haunted location history, ghost sightings UK 🛸 Recommendation: If you like this episode, check out our episode on Leap Castle. 🛸 Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. 🛸 Have a paranormal encounter or story you'd like told on the podcast? Am I the Haunted? | Paranormal Podcast We're back with another round of Am I the Haunted, where we dig up three more Reddit confessions and hand out our completely unqualified verdicts — haunted, probs haunted, or not haunted. This episode we've got a toddler who started refusing to go to grandma's house alone because apparently grandma has a stand-in when she's out of town, someone who keeps catching glimpses of a little boy in their doorway and a figure in white passing through their hallway at 5am, and a person whose house ghost apparently decided one location just wasn't enough and followed them to work. No advice, no hotline numbers, just us judging people's supernatural situations and hoping none of it ever happens to us. 🛸 Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. 🛸 Have a paranormal encounter or story you'd like told on the podcast? The Creature in the Vanity | Paranormal Podcast We've got three listener submissions this week that each hit differently — starting with a birthday trip to the Stanley Hotel where flickering lights, a disembodied little girl's giggle, and a mysterious cigar smell in the elevator made for a haunting you'd actually want to have. Then we dove into Kevin's story out of Santa Fe, where an ornate family vanity became the home of something tall, impossibly thin, and very much aware of him — and the second time he saw it, this thing was done just standing there. We wrapped up with Sarah, a girl from a Mescalero Apache family with a long line of seers, whose mother had a dream so terrifying it sent the whole house into lockdown mode the next morning — and the missing necklace that started it all was never found. Episode Keywords: Stanley Hotel haunted, haunted hotels paranormal, Santa Fe paranormal encounter, tall thin creature sighting, shadow figure encounter, Mescalero Apache supernatural, paranormal podcast, true listener encounters, creepy true stories, horror podcast, real ghost stories, unexplained phenomena, demon sighting, supernatural encounter stories 🛸 Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. 🛸 Have a paranormal encounter or story you'd like told on the podcast? Bizarre News April 2026 | Paranormal Podcast April's Bizarre News had us covering everything from the unexpected wildlife sanctuary blooming inside Chernobyl's exclusion zone, to a deeply unsettling federal investigation into 11 scientists with security clearances tied to aerospace, nuclear, and defense programs who've died or vanished under mysterious circumstances since 2022. We also got into a guy in England who spent 350 hours and over $13,000 turning his body into a living Marvel encyclopedia — 63 characters and counting — and wrapped things up with Grammy-winning country star Kacey Musgraves going viral after claiming she watched three glowing orbs do things no known aircraft can do for 45 minutes straight on a flight from Texas to Nashville. Wild month, wild stories, and we changed Tyler's tire before recording so you know the commitment is real. 🛸 Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. 🛸 Have a paranormal encounter or story you'd like told on the podcast? Terrified Together with Sinistergood | Paranormal Podcast We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Christie and Heather from the Sinisterhood podcast for this month's Terrified Together, and honestly, the four of us could have talked haunted locations, crystals, and fae pacts for about six more hours. We covered two listener-submitted stories — one from a front desk worker in Tennessee who kept seeing something walk behind her in the window reflection during her 5 am solo shifts at a doctor's office, and one involving two girls on a dusk walk who came face to face with something in the woods that looked like a deer but was very clearly not. Big laughs, genuinely creepy moments, and a truly fascinating conversation about energy, dimensions, and what might actually be lurking in the old land of Appalachia. Am I the Haunted? | Paranormal Podcast We're back with another Am I the Haunted, where we dig through Reddit's most unsettling paranormal confessions and hand out our completely unqualified verdicts — haunted, probs haunted, or not haunted. This episode, we've got a sister who's watched a nun appear in a wardrobe while a toddler asks questions that nobody in the house can explain, a teenager who's been followed since childhood by something that calls itself Sir and has apparently decided to start escalating, and someone who keeps waking up in places they definitely didn't fall asleep. No advice, no hotlines, just us reading, judging, and occasionally questioning everything we think we know about the line between paranormal and something else entirely. 🛸 Patreon: Support Believing the Bizarre and get tons of extra content by joining our Patreon. 🛸 Have a paranormal encounter or story you'd like told on the podcast?
