Exploring the dark side of humanity

As humans, we are all capable of inflicting horrible actions and emotions such as jealousy, hate and greed; however, we tend to store these away, hidden from others. Ultimately, as a collective, people have these unconscious distorted desires, but do not act upon them. But...when does this dark side of humanity arise? What triggers it? Why does it occur? Thus, today we are going to explore how extreme environments are a catalyst for the exposure of the dark side of humanity.
