METR. NEOPHYTOS OF MORPHOU: "Elder Iakovos Tsalikis, the Modern Elder of Evia (1920-1991)"

This article by Metropolitan Neophytos of Morphou, the spiritual child of Saint Iakovos of Evia, was published for the first time in the periodical "Orthodox Witness" by the "Friends of the Holy Mountain" society in Cyprus. It was written when Metropolitan Neophytos was still a deacon at the holy monastery of Saint George the Short in Larnaca. It constitues, in essence, the first published text that relates the life of Elder Iakovos.
