His celebrated survey exhibition Horizons continues to tour regional Queensland, introducing new audiences to the breadth of his practice.We discuss the central role drawing plays in his daily life, the challenges and rewards of maintaining a long artistic career, and the ways landscape painting can become a vehicle for contemplation, memory and human connection.
