Sur cet episode, on apprend à faire des comparaisons avec des adjectives. 1st group: adjectifs avec 1 ou 2 syllables seulement, the “-er adjectives” Big / bigger / the biggest Small / smaller / the smallest Happy / happier / the happiest Hot / hotter / the hottest Old / older / the oldest Pretty / prettier / the prettiest 2nd group: adjectifs avec 3 syllables ou plus Beautiful / more beautiful / the most beautiful Intelligent / more intelligent / the most intelligent Expensive / more expensive / the most expensive Annoying / more annoying / the most annoying Difficult / more difficult / the most difficult La preposition “than” est employee pour indiquer l'objet auquel on compare quand on n'en a que deux. La preposition “of” est employee pour indiquer le groupe auquel la comparant fait partie, si on veut l'indiquer, quand on a trois choses ou plus. Examples: “My dad is older than your dad.” “The television is more expensive than the radio.” “Mary is the prettiest of all the girls.” “My math class is the most annoying (of all my classes).” Exception: good Good / better / the best
