We see how closely tied together John and Hal truly are as this episode goes into the backstory of John Stewart and how he got to the position to be part of the Green Lantern Corps.  Its wild too that we are still early in the season and yet we get a much needed episode that ends up making you look at the first two episodes in a different way.
