In this special episode, Joe and Jennifer Shortridge take you inside one of the most exciting gatherings of paranormal enthusiasts, investigators, authors, speakers, and curious minds in the region. Instead of simply talking about the paranormal from the studio, this time we're bringing you the atmosphere, stories, and people we met right from the convention floor. Cleveland has a long and fascinating relationship with the paranormal. From historic buildings and legendary locations to unexplained encounters and the investigators who continue to search for answers, the city provides the perfect backdrop for a weekend dedicated to everything strange, mysterious, and unexplained. During this episode, we sit down with three fascinating guests, each bringing a different perspective and a different paranormal story to the conversation. Our first interview is with Cindy from The Ross House. Cindy shares information about this historic location and the paranormal activity associated with it. We talk about the history of The Ross House, experiences that have taken place there, and what makes historic locations such intriguing places for paranormal investigators. As always, we let the stories speak for themselves and invite you to decide what you think may be happening. Next, we talk with Amber, who tells us about the Collingwood Art Center. The Collingwood Art Center is one of Cleveland's fascinating historic locations, and Amber gives us an inside look at the building, its history, and the paranormal experiences connected to it. What happens when a building with decades of history becomes the setting for unexplained encounters? Amber shares some of the stories that have made the location so interesting to those fascinated by the paranormal. Our third interview features Patience Moriah LeClair, who joins us to talk about her own paranormal encounters. Personal experiences can be some of the most compelling stories in the paranormal world because they often begin with something unexpected — a strange sound, an unexplained sighting, a feeling that something isn't quite right, or an experience that leaves someone searching for an explanation. Patience shares her experiences with us and discusses what she encountered and how those experiences affected her. And because this episode was recorded LIVE at Cleveland Paracon, you're getting more than just interviews. You're getting a taste of the convention itself — the people, conversations, stories, and excitement that make paranormal conventions such a great place to connect with others who share an interest in the unexplained. For Joe and Jennifer, events like Cleveland Paracon are also an opportunity to meet listeners, talk with fellow investigators and researchers, record new interviews, and hear stories that might never make their way into a traditional studio conversation. So turn down the lights, settle in, and join us as the 222 Paranormal Podcast goes LIVE from the 2026 Cleveland Paracon. Three guests. Three different stories. Historic locations, unexplained experiences, and plenty of questions. Is there something paranormal happening at these locations? We'll let you listen and decide. <p class="MsoNormal

The story reportedly began in 2011 after the Ammons family moved into the house. What initially appeared to be an ordinary family home allegedly became the center of bizarre and frightening experiences. The family reported strange noises, unexplained footsteps, shadowy figures, swarms of flies appearing during the winter, and other disturbing activity. But the story became even more unbelievable when the family's children reportedly began experiencing frightening and unusual behavior. Police were called. Medical professionals became involved. Indiana's Department of Child Services investigated And eventually, a Catholic priest entered the story. Father Michael Maginot became involved with the family and reportedly performed religious rites and exorcisms connected to the alleged activity. Accounts of the case describe strange voices, unusual behavior, and incidents that witnesses interpreted as evidence of something far beyond an ordinary haunting. But what really happened? Were the Ammons family experiencing a genuine paranormal event? Could psychological, environmental, or other natural explanations account for what happened? Or was something truly supernatural affecting the family? Jennifer and Joe explore both sides of the story without automatically accepting every paranormal claim as fact. Because one of the most important principles of paranormal investigation is this: **Unexplained does not automatically mean supernatural.** The case eventually attracted the attention of paranormal investigator Zak Bagans, who purchased the property and investigated it for his documentary **Demon House**. His experiences at the location added another layer to an already controversial case and helped transform the small house in Gary into one of the most famous alleged haunted locations in America. Then came the bulldozers. The house was demolished in 2016. The structure that had allegedly been the center of so much frightening activity was gone. But that raises one of the biggest questions of this episode: **What happens to a haunting when the haunted house no longer exists?** Did destroying the Demon House destroy whatever was believed to be inside it? Could paranormal activity remain attached to the land Did the activity follow the people who lived there? Or did the reported experiences simply end when the family left? Jennifer and Joe examine what is known about the former property and discuss whether there is credible evidence of ongoing paranormal activity at the location today. The episode also looks at the difference between documented events, witness testimony, paranormal interpretation, and stories that have grown through years of internet retelling. The Demon House case is ultimately more than a scary story. It is a fascinating collision of **paranormal investigation, religion, psychology,

What if some of humanity's greatest mysteries aren't waiting to be discovered in outer space—but are already here, hidden beneath our feet and resting silently on the bottom of the ocean? On this fascinating episode of the **222 Paranormal Podcast**, hosts **Jennifer and Joe Shortridge** dive into the world of ancient artifacts discovered underground and underwater—objects that challenge what we think we know about ancient civilizations, lost knowledge, and the true history of human achievement. For centuries, explorers, archaeologists, divers, and researchers have uncovered incredible objects buried deep beneath layers of earth or preserved beneath the waves. Some have perfectly reasonable explanations. Others remain surrounded by questions, controversy, and mystery. Could certain discoveries suggest that ancient people possessed knowledge far beyond what we have traditionally been taught? Were advanced civilizations lost to time? Or are we sometimes underestimating the intelligence, creativity, and scientific abilities of our ancestors? One of the most remarkable discoveries discussed in this episode is the **Antikythera Mechanism**, an astonishing ancient device recovered from a shipwreck near the Greek island of Antikythera. Often described as one of the world's earliest known analog computers, this complex collection of gears has fascinated scientists and historians for generations. How could people living more than 2,000 years ago create something with such extraordinary mechanical sophistication? What was it designed to calculate? And does the Antikythera Mechanism represent a level of ancient technological knowledge that was later lost? Jennifer and Joe also explore mysterious ancient manuscripts, including the legendary **Voynich Manuscript**, one of history's most puzzling documents. Filled with strange illustrations, unknown plants, mysterious symbols, and writing that has resisted centuries of interpretation, the manuscript continues to spark debate. Is it written in a forgotten language? Is it an elaborate code? Could it contain lost scientific, medical, or mystical knowledge? Or is the truth something entirely different? The conversation goes even deeper as the hosts examine other strange discoveries connected to ancient civilizations and unexplained history. From objects recovered beneath the ocean to artifacts discovered deep underground, these mysteries raise an important question: **How much of the ancient world has yet to be discovered?** The

Entire communities may have disappeared beneath rising seas, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. Over thousands of years, evidence of human civilizations can be swallowed by the earth and sea, leaving behind only fragments f

What exactly is the Holy Spirit? Is He a divine presence, a guide, a comforter, or something far more mysterious? In this powerful and thought-provoking episode of the 222 Paranormal Podcast, Joe and Jennifer explore one of Christianity's greatest mysteries: the identity and role of the Holy Spirit within the Trinity. Joe and Jennifer begin at the very beginning—literally. The first mention of the Spirit of God appears in Genesis, where the Spirit is described as moving over the waters before creation. From there, the conversation travels through the Old Testament, examining the many ways the Holy Spirit appears, guides, empowers, and communicates with humanity. One of the most fascinating stories discussed is that of Bezalel, the craftsman chosen to help construct the Tabernacle and the sacred objects associated with it, including the Ark of the Covenant. Scripture describes Bezalel as being filled with the Spirit of God, receiving wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and exceptional craftsmanship. What does this tell us about the Holy Spirit? Could divine inspiration extend beyond prophecy and miracles into creativity, craftsmanship, and human ability? Joe and Jennifer also explore the Holy Spirit's relationship with biblical figures including Moses, David, Samson, Elijah, and the prophets. The discussion moves into some of the Bible's most extraordinary supernatural experiences, including dreams, visions, prophecy, divine guidance, and Ezekiel's mysterious visions. The conversation then turns toward Jesus Christ and the Trinity. What does Christianity mean when it says the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one God? What happened when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at His baptism? And what does the dramatic event of Pentecost reveal about the Spirit's role? One of the most personal moments of the episode comes when Joe reflects on growing up in a Catholic home and attending church, where he heard the Holy Spirit mentioned many times throughout his childhood. Yet, despite hearing the words repeatedly, he admits that he never really understood who the Holy Spirit was or what role the Spirit played in his faith. That personal reflection becomes an important part of the episode's larger question: Can we experience the Holy Spirit today? Joe also shares one of his own theories: Could some experiences that people describe as encounters with guardian angels actually involve the Holy Spirit? While Joe makes it clear that this is his personal thought rather than established Christian doctrine, the idea opens the door to a fascinating discussion about intuition, divine guidance, protection, spiritual experiences, and the unexplained. Throughout the episode, Joe and Jennifer carefully explore the difference between biblical teachings, Christian tradition, personal belief, and paranormal experiences. Whether you're a lifelong Christian, someone who grew up hearing about the Holy Spirit but never fully understood the concept, a paranormal enthusiast, or simply someone fascinated by the mysteries of consciousness and spirituality, this episode offers plenty to think about. Who is the Holy Spirit? Is the Holy Spirit still active in the world today? And could some of the mysterious experiences people encounter throughout their lives have a spiritual explanation? Would you answer? In this fascinating episode of the **222 Paranormal Podcast**, Joe and Jennifer Shortridge dive deep into one of the most unsettling and intriguing areas of paranormal research: **phone calls from the dead**. For decades, people around the world have reported receiving mysterious telephone calls, voicemails, and electronic messages that they believe came from deceased loved ones. Some describe hearing a familiar voice. Others report nothing but silence, static, or strange sounds before the call suddenly ends. Are these experiences genuine communications from the afterlife, unusual technological glitches, or something connected to the grieving process? Joe and Jennifer begin by exploring the history of humanity's attempts to communicate with the dead and how the development of electricity and communication technology changed the way people thought about the afterlife. The conversation then turns to two of the greatest inventors in history: **Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison**. Tesla's experiments with electricity, radio signals, frequency, and wireless communication have fascinated paranormal researchers for generations. Joe and Jennifer examine what Tesla actually believed, what he reportedly experienced during his experiments, and how his work has been interpreted by people searching for evidence of communication beyond our physical world. Then comes Thomas Edison and the famous idea of the **"Spirit Phone."** Did Edison really attempt to create a machine capable of communicating with the dead? What did he actually say about the possibility? And how much of the modern Spirit Phone story is documented history versus legend? The episode also explores the history of **Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP)** and **Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC)**. Joe and Jennifer discuss researchers such as Friedrich Jürgenson and Konstantin Raudive and examine the controversial claims that electronic equipment can sometimes capture voices that investigators cannot hear at the time of recording. The discussion then moves into the twentieth century and the scientific interest surrounding unexplained electronic voices, including the **1979 research and discussion referenced in the episode**. But the heart of this episode is the stories. Joe and Jennifer examine reports involving mysterious phone calls, disconnected numbers, unexplained voicemails, and calls apparently made by people shortly after their deaths. One of the most famous cases discussed is the **Charles Peck cellphone case** following the 2008 Chatsworth train collision, in which family members reportedly received repeated calls from Peck's phone after the crash. Could these incidents have technological explanations? Could grief and memory play a role? Could electronic interference create the illusion of a voice? Or could consciousness somehow survive physical death and find a way to interact with the technology around us? Joe and Jennifer explore all of these possibilities without claiming to have all the answers. Ultimately, **"Phone Calls From the Dead"** isn't simply about whether ghosts can use telephones. It's about something much deeper: our desire to remain connected to the people we love, even

Casey has been investigating the paranormal and leading the Eastern Wisconsin Paranormal Team for nearly seven years. Over that time, the team has had the opportunity to investigate more than 20 businesses and four private homes, each location bringing its own history, atmosphere, and potential mysteries. With a team of approximately eight members, Casey and the group approach their investigations with curiosity, teamwork, and an open mind. Paranormal investigation is about much more than simply walking into a supposedly haunted location with cameras and equipment. Every investigation begins with questions. What happened at the location? Who lived or worked there? Is there a history of unusual activity? Are there stories that have been passed down through generations? And perhaps most importantly, can the experiences reported by witnesses be documented and investigated in a responsible way? During our conversation, Casey shares insight into what it takes to investigate paranormal claims and what investigators may encounter when they enter a location with a reputation for being haunted. From unexplained sounds and strange feelings to possible spirit activity and personal experiences, every investigation can bring something different. We also explore the importance of working as a team. Paranormal investigations can be challenging, especially when investigators are dealing with darkness, unfamiliar environments, and situations that may be difficult to explain. Having a group of investigators allows experiences to be compared, evidence to be reviewed, and observations to be discussed from different perspectives. One of the most fascinating aspects of paranormal investigation is the unknown. While some experiences may eventually have a logical explanation, others can leave investigators with more questions than answers. For people like Casey, that uncertainty is part of what makes the field so interesting. The goal isn't necessarily to prove every experience is paranormal, but to investigate, document, and consider all possibilities. Casey's nearly seven years of experience leading the Eastern Wisconsin Paranormal Team have provided countless
